Abstract

The crucial feature of applications such as smart grids is the necessity of real-time and interactive capabilities, among which OpenAl is the trend today. This article proposes the integration of IoT and OpenAI platforms through proxies using Embedded-based ESP32 to enable intelligently response to the users automatically. The purpose of the experiment is to probe the effect of the dataset on the average round-trip time (RTT) of the communication between the IoT platform and OpenAI. The research results show that the RTT between the proxy and the IoT cloud can be expected to rise at a definite rate. On the other hand, although the RTT between OpenAI and the proxy is unstable over time, the volume of message traffic does not increase proportionally. As a conclusion, the results of this presentation can provide a basis for the analysis of and the development of other systems.
