Dr. Muhammad Saadi is a Senior Research Fellow at Nottingham Trent University with research expertise in visible light communication, IoT, machine learning, and 5G/6G networks.
Biography
Dr. Muhammad Saadi is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, Nottingham Trent University, UK. He previously served as Associate Professor and Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Central Punjab, Pakistan.
He has published over 90 papers including 50 journal articles, 38 conference papers, and 4 book chapters. His research spans visible light communication, indoor localization, Internet of Things, machine learning, autonomous vehicles, and smart city applications.
Dr. Saadi has secured international research funding including grants from the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (China) for Belt and Road Initiative projects and Sunway University (Malaysia) for drone integration in smart city healthcare. He has received Best Paper Awards at ITC-CSCC in 2014 and 2015.
Research Statement
My research focuses on visible light communication, IoT-enabled systems, machine learning for wireless networks, indoor localization, and smart city applications. I work at the intersection of communications engineering and artificial intelligence to develop practical solutions for next-generation networks.
